Project Overview

A two-sided property marketplace. Buyers search listings on a map, filter by what actually matters to them and save what they like. Agents get a dashboard where every enquiry lands as a trackable lead, tied to the listing that produced it. We handled product design, the front end, the API and the data model behind both sides.

Challenge

The problem worth solving.

Before the build, Real Estate Platform had to answer a set of hard questions about real estate. These are the constraints that shaped every decision that followed.

    Buyers think in areas and commutes, not database fields. Text filters alone were never going to be the primary way in.

We approached Real Estate Platform as a two-sided marketplace platform — deciding the structure, the interface system and the technical foundation in that order, then building them together.

    Map-first search

    Search results and the map stay in sync — moving the map refines the list, and filters apply to both. Listing cards are readable at a glance.

    Indexed geo queries

    PostgreSQL with spatial indexing and clustered markers keeps result sets fast as inventory grows.

    Every enquiry becomes a tracked record with source listing, status and history, so nothing sits unanswered.
